Valencia CF Face a Challenging End to November Against Real Betis, CP Parla Escuela-Fair Play and RCD Mallorca
The first match will be at Mestalla with the other two played away
Valencia CF welcomed LaLiga newcomers SD Huesca on Saturday 26th of September at Mestalla on matchday 3 of LaLiga Santander at 4 pm kick-off time (CET).
Valencia CF were off to a quiet start with SD Huesca dominating possession and Valencia CF sitting back and trying to break at every opportunity in a cagey opening half with neither side providing anything in the way of danger and Valencia CF trying to find a foothold in the game.
Daniel Wass drew first blood on 36 minutes with a wicked bending effort from a free-kick which bobbled and squirmed inside the far post beyond Andrés Fernández on its way in eluding everyone.
SD Huesca tried to respond through a long range Seoane effort which went way off target in the closing minutes. Valencia CF were 1-0 up at the Interval with Daniel Wass strike being the difference at half-time.
The same script followed in the opening minutes of the first half with the away side in possession at much higher pace with Valencia CF trying to settle as the second half went off at Mestalla.
Jaume Doménech produced a brilliant stop to a dangerous Seoane effort but he palmed it over the bar and moments later, Siovas made it 1-1 over the hour mark from a corner kick. Javi Gracia made a double like-for-like swap with Jason and Manu Vallejo making way for Kevin Gameiro and Yunus Musah.
Valencia CF were unable to stop the opposition venturing forward with 20 minutes plus injury time left to go.
Geoffrey Kondogbia worked Andres with a powerful effort which was gathered by Andrés in a highly contested passage of play. Kevin Gameiro came mighty close to scoring the winner with only the keeper left to beat when the ball dropped at his feet in a gilt-edged chance but he fired it over the bar.
The match finished all square as Valencia CF were forced to share the spoils against a tough SD Huesca side. Valencia CF will visit Real Sociedad on Tuesday at the Reale Arena at 7 pm kick-off time on matchday 4 of LaLiga Santander.
